Once upon a time, I owned a little lingerie boutique called Indium Intimates. It didn’t last long because I realized I only loved the shopping part. Not the rest. However, I discovered a ton of lingerie brands from going to market in NYC. Since social media hides accounts that show women’s bodies, I want to share with you 3 lingerie brands you should know if you’re looking for something gorgeously unique. None of these brands are based in the US, but you are supporting a small business by shopping with them.
Atelier Amour
Atelier Amour is a lingerie brand based in France. Handmade pieces created by Rachel. We met at market in NYC. She is the nicest human and made me feel so welcome even though I was brand new to the industry. We love that her pieces are high quality and a style you won’t find any where else. If you’re looking for something delicate and different, shop here.
Something Wicked
Something Wicked is based in the UK and is a small handmade shop. They focus on creating a bit spicier pieces working mostly with leather. The leather is the softest you’ll ever feel. Most of their pieces are adjustable for the perfect fit. Extremely high quality and I highly recommend if you’re looking for something black and strappy. We do have some of her pieces in the client closet.
Edge O’ Beyond
Edge O’ Beyond is a London based luxury lingerie shop. They create cup sizes A-H with most pieces having adjustable straps for the perfect fit. They have a more playful style and are not afraid of color and texture. I met them at a small market in NYC and they were very sweet to work with!
